Webcomic Fanart!

So....I am one of those people that does not draw fanart often. And generally when I do, it tends to be a burst, like with two or even at times three fandoms in one picture. Case in point, this goofy thing. Sadly, all I had to document it was the crappy iPad camera, so if I need to throw in a translation, let me know.

All of these characters belong to and , from left to right. On the top row to the left is Jack "Darkness" Price of Vampire Phantasm, a comic I have enjoyed....well, since I was probably way too young to read comics like that. On hiatus though it may be, VP and it's prequel VP Excrucio are really good reads. I look forward to the day it gets resumed, though I can understand needing a break from it. Her current project "Daniel" is also a highly enjoyable comic I recommend, go check it out at www.vermillionworks.com right now!

to the top right is another red eyed black haired vampire, the ever memorable Zerlocke Petrucci of Amelius's comic "Charby the Vampirate", which can be read over on www.charbythevampirate.com. The comic is currently being revamped alongside it's current updates and alongside the spinoff "Here There Be Monsters" and I am seriously looking forward to the point where Zerlocke gets to shine in the revamped pages. His character is extremely amusing and undeniably lovable, if a bit obsessive and psychotic for a certain little zombie witch. I am always cracking up at his exploits and failures at wooing his little love, though I can also appreciate there is more to his personality than a lovesick puppy, which can be illustrated by his interactions with the other Elites. (Read the comic for more details, though you may need to go to the old comic archives to do so.)

Both Jack and Zerlocke are unsure of my drawing style for them, but at least Jack can still do that crazy person head tilt. I don't feel like I did any of them justice, but I do like how Jack's hair turned out at the very least.

on the bottom left is Jill, Jack's sireling, who is seriously unimpressed with her new "master"'s head tilt. To her right is Mye, the one Zerlocke obsessively stalks loves. Good question, Mye, good question....

None of them have feet because foot drawing hates me. I tried coloring this similar to the mostly greyscale of VP, lemme know what you all think!

I was going to draw Orlock and The lady who sired Zerlocke at the bottom, but....well, I don't think I could successfully draw that level of gore, or Orlock's psycho-grin. Favorite vampire villain in a webcomic he may be to me, I am not touching that with a ten foot pole....it's bad enough how I butchered Jack's hair, I shudder to think what would have happened to Orlock's long flowy hair....
